Is anyone else having trouble getting back into the swing of things after the Thanksgiving festivities. I don’t know why, but I havent’ been able to put two sentences together on my blog this week!
I have reviews and giveaways to get done, so this has to end. Sleep deprivation likely isn’t helping!
Lil’ Dude has been having potty training issues. He is doing great with pee pee, but WILL NOT put anything else in the potty. We’ve had a couple of days with him in such pain and discomfort because he won’t go. Poor kid, so two days this week he’s actually ended up getting business done on the potty. The rest of the time he just waits for the night time diaper.

Hi there Miss Diva!
I’m with you on the whole post office thing. Thank goodness the grocery store down the street has a satellite p.o. Because the post office for my area…like where they keep my packages they need signatures for…is totally out of the way and far from my house, so far, in fact, I have to drive by another post office to get there…the genius of the Federal Government at work!

It sounds like you have a legitimate beef about going to the Post Office… mine isn’t far.
I’m going to have to blame this on having 2 children 4 and under… Or accept responsibility and call it lazy.

I’m tired from being on the computer until after 2 a.m. last night. I’m off visiting my mom without “the old man”, so I don’t have the attitude, “Oh, you’re still on the computer? I guess I’ll see you in the morning”

Hubby and I are in the same room on our individual computers…so he doesn’t feel neglected by my blogging, since he’s doing his own thing…usually working on his music. And I don’t feel guilty that way, because he’s doing his own creative outlet while I do mine! ;)Happy VGNO – hope you figure out the balance!
I’m with Stacy. My husband and I do our computer work at the same time. Sometimes while we also watch a movie. We’re lame!
Happy VGNO! I usually blog while my husband is doing other computer things, so he doesn’t mind, but I have noticed that if I start doing it while he isn’t doing computer stuff, he doesn’t seems very happy. He hasn’t brought it up directly, but I’ve noticed his little mood changes.

Hello and nice to meet you. I’ve come by way of VGNO. Thanks for posting the Dr. Oz link, I was in a discussion about the immunization today and am opting not to have one – however, I’ll check in to see what Dr. Oz has to say. I too have been working toward living green and organic. I live on Vancouver Island in Canada and am an avid gardener and cook who loves to shop local and has learn to appreciate the taste of clean, real food. As for the blogging… I have a full time job so the only chance I get to indulge my hobby is during the evening after everyone goes to bed, early mornings, and on the weekend. Mind you, I’ve been doing this a long time and after dubbing my husband “The Poolboy” several yearas ago on the blog he quite enjoys the noteriety
You hail from my part of the world. I grew up in Vancouver and even lived on Cortez Island at one point in my childhood!
Glad Poolboy likes his noteriety, Dude hasn’t quite gotten there. I blog in spare moments throughout the day and then in the evening. I’m on a laptop, so I sit with him on the sofa a foot away from him, but that isn’t cutting it.

I think it got a little worse.
Then we rolled through that cycle…. now we’re good.
Yesterday he gave me most of the day off, took lil’ diva to school, packed her lunch. Then made french toast for lil dude and I. Followed up with taking them to the park in the Evening and out to dinner while I went and had a foot massage and wine with the girls. He’s compensating a little for MLB Playoff absences!
No Whining this week!

I’ve been having the same problem with getting back into blogging after Thanksgiving. Glad to hear that I’m not the only one!Happy VGNO!
Hi there! Good luck with that potty training, we’ll be starting that in about 6 months. My daughter is almost 9 and we bribed her to “poopy” in the potty by letting her choose a Matchbox car each time she went. They were her favorites at the time and I got a big box at Ross so they were pretty cheap. Some of my friends used candy, but I didn’t want to start the food as a reward thing. Now her brother is playing with her big stash of “poopy cars” and we hope it works for him.
I’m stopping by today from VGNO, so late that I’m almost embarrassed to admit it! But things have been pretty crazy around here in the last week with all the holiday prep, school party stuff and of course my DUCKS winning last week! ROSE BOWL! I think I’m recovered & back to normal! Have a great weekend! I’ll probably be back around soon for tonight’s VGNO!
