I am totally NOT a morning person. It’s so hard when the kids want to play in the morning before I’ve managed a cup of coffee.
I love my weekly visits to your closet :-). Also, I totally feel you on playing with the kids. Now that Oscar is 3, I am finding that I am not nearly as able to play with him like when he was younger. I wish I were better at it!
I’m a night owl too! I strongly believe that you should let the sun be your natural alarm clock. Can’t stand the alarm clock and I can’t wait for the corporate world to get more flexible with this! Maybe in another few decades???
My mom is one of those people that is truly gifted with getting down on the floor and engaging with children. I wish more of that had rubbed off one me. Also, I’m an afternoon person. I just really recognized this a few years ago. Mid-day is when I feel most alive. Thanks for the prompt this week.
Might be one of the reasons we’ve gotten along so well, fellow night owl. I’ve always felt the best times of day for any business meetings are between 11 am and 4 pm. When my kids have had soccer games starting at 8 am on a Saturday, I look at the coaches as if they’ve grown horns. And the playing with the kids part? Know your weaknesses and celebrate your strengths – of which you have many. I leave the craft-type play to the professionals, including the clean up
Thanks for a wonderful topic Tania! This was so revealing and wonderful! I am the same way – I am a night person and tend to not really wake up enough to eat until like 10am.
